First D200 Portfolio
Sunday 20th May…….. Time 5am What a day for dipping the new Sea & Sea DX- D200 Housing for the new Nikon D200 dSLR in the water for the first time. Conditions at Babbacome were fantastic (see topside image)…. A bright sunny day, no wind and blue water visibility conditions in excess of 15 metres. Most of the gallery was produced using the Nikkor 10.5 Fish eye lens, Fish Faces & Eye were all produced using the 105 mm Macro lens. The general ergonomics’ of the “New” all Alloy cast DX-D200 Housing, with ultra fast focusing and improved larger viewfinder was always going to “Make My Day” an absolute pleasure. My thanks to Terry Griffiths from Divers Down and John Newman for their assistance with modelling in AJ’s cave and for giving me the location of the Lumpsucker.
